I want to build a wall of wind, a surface I can lean on.

I want to make a sheet of paper levitate.

I want to create a religious experience about gravity.

I want to move through the doorway.

I want to make a well-made thing.

I want to make it so large, it slows time.

I want to commit to something and do it to death.

I want to eat those plums.

I want my work to resist me, so it can show me what it really is.

I want to do as the ancient reptiles did and swallow smooth, round stones, so that I can become my own ballast.

I want to sink deep, and see and feel deeply until enough time passes, and I, too, am transfigured into something new.
